This floor insulation achieves an acoustic improvement index of 36 dB with foam concrete as the backfill layer and 33 dB with EPS-based backfill layer.
Acoustic Abrifiber is an acoustic floor insulation composed of three layers. The top layer is an alu layer with printing. This printed layer is the top layer and thus remains visible after placement. The 2nd layer consists of polyethylene foam of 5 mm-35 kg/m³ followed by a layer of 4 mm acoustic felt. The acoustic complex has an overlap of 100 mm placed over seam. Acoustic Abrifiber 9 mm meets the NBN S01-400-1 standard for residential buildings.
