Textile fabric with PVC film coating
Puratex is a seamless textile fabric with a thickness of 2 mm. The top of the cloth is capped with a PVC film. This prevents moisture penetration and provides additional insulation protection for further floor finishing. The textile cloth is always used in conjunction with Thermogran.
Advantages
- Protects insulation granules.
- Keep the insulation granules dry.
- Screed can be laid immediately after the Puratex has been installed.
- Fireproofing.
Placement
- The puratex film is placed overlapping as a cover for the Thermogran® product in the Thermogran®25 system, which is poured dry after acoustic edge insulation is installed and spread and pressed evenly with a rake.
- In the Thermogran®32 and Thermogran®34 systems, the puratex film is placed overlapping over Accorub acoustic mats 1 or 2 cm thick, respectively.
- The total insulation package is then finished with a reinforced screed of min. 6 cm or a flow screed of min. 4 cm. The screed shall meet the preset requirements of the WTCB (TV 189 and 193). Care should be taken to ensure that the puratex film is not damaged anywhere and forms a sealed unit. The baseboard finish should be done with a flexible sealant and should not cause a rigid contact bridge.
- Optionally, a pressure net of 100/100/4 can be placed for the purpose of stability and/or for technical anchoring of the underfloor heating.
