Agglomerated cork and recycled (PUR) polyurethane granules
Amorim U85 is an acoustic insulation mat supplied in rolls and manufactured with agglomerated cork and recycled polyurethane granules bonded with latex adhesive in a hot process. The insulation has a flat structure at the top and is a corrugated structure at the bottom. The thickness is 4 mm / 2 mm.
Amorim Cork Composites’ 100% recycled AcoustiCork U85 4/2 combines the unique technical advantages of cork with those of polyurethane. The result is a light and flexible impact sound insulation that achieves a ∆Lw of 23 dB thanks to its corrugated underside with a thickness of only 4 mm. With the U85, Amorim Cork Composites offers a sustainable alternative to synthetic insulation products. The elastic properties of the polyurethane and cork guarantee good impact sound insulation.
