Polymer dispersion
Grouttech PolyBond is a modified polymer dispersion, which can be applied to build a bonding bridge or modify mineral mortars. When Grouttech PolyBond is added to a mortar, the modified material is better suited for application in thin layers. Also, Grouttech PolyBond prevents surface dust formation in cement screeds.
PolyBond is a saponification stable dispersion based on a styrol butadiene. The material has a very high solids content and contains no plasticizers. When added to cementitious sealing compounds, mortars, screed mortars, etc., plasticization of the material occurs, making it easier to process. Wear resistance, flexibility (modulus of elasticity), freeze-thaw resistance, flexural tensile strength and bond strength are optimized. In addition, the shrinkage behavior of the mortar decreases.
